As usual, when something comes to my hand in bad condition, I will refuse to acknowledge that its dead on arrival. I will troubleshoot till the last drop of sweat, to get it working and running. An sop for me, its character.
To some people, this feels complicated and taunting. To me, i take this as a challenge. What can be worse right, a crash disk and a fail partition. Data still intact, phew. Back it up and refurbish it.
